La Manga and the Mar Menor is located on the Spanish Costa Calida in the South East region of Spain, Murcia and Cartagena. The Verdamar apartments are located in a village before you reach the La Manga called Playa Honda (la-manga-map). Playa Honda is a small village with a selection of shops, restaurants and a supermarket.
Just a short car ride away is the world famous La Manga Club which offers championship golf courses as well as tennis, spa facilities and a wide selection of bars and restaurants to sample.
The nearby villages have markets of varying days of the week and these provide a large selection of fruit & vegetables, meat, fish, household items and many other products.

Verdamar Apartments at Playa Honda are a 15 minute drive from Murcia Airport which is located at San Javier. From the Airport follow the AP-7 south to Cartagena. Then pick up the N-312 for La Manga. Playa Honda is clearly signed posted off the N-312. During the day the distinctive apartments can be seen on the sea front.
